In order to assure the freshness and quality of our products, we bring products by air just after produced and we never hold stocks for a long time. We sell and distribute high-quality Matcha in a wide array of possible grades, from Ceremonial grade to culinary to meet the needs of the most demanding chefs. We chose to setup in Barcelona as we considered it to be a key hub for attending our clients and partners both in EMEA and Latin America. The Matcha House was founded in 2009 as the European sales office of Aoi Seicha Co., Ltd of Japan with the purpose of establishing permanent and stable field operations of Matcha Green Tea outside Japan. Boil the cream and melt chocolate inside. Bake the mixture in the oven at 200✬ for 8 minutes.ĥ. Add the remaining meringue and mix again.Ĥ. Add one third of the meringue into the mixture and add the flour and mix it. Make a meringue with egg whites and sugar.ģ. Add almond powder and vanilla essence and mix well.Ģ. This is ideal cake for green tea lovers and also for not-too-sweet cakes lovers.ġ. Chocolate has a deep and strong sweetness but with Matcha it becomes mild and slighty bitter. It is really an interesting flavour combination. The typical combination is chocolate and coffee, but instead of coffee we used Matcha. It is made with layers of almond sponge cake (known as Joconde in French) soaked in coffee syrup, layered with ganache and coffee buttercream and covered in a chocolate glaze.
